Matcha is traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremonies for hundreds of years. It represents a finely ground powder from specially grown and processed green tea leaves. Plant (Camellia sinensis) grown matcha for special care – for example, three weeks before harvesting, the plant are placed in the shade and in the processing of the leaves are removed handles stems and antlers. Matcha powder of Dragon Superfoods is the highest grade (Grade A) matcha and it can be prepared as tea, so can be added as an ingredient in various recipes. As such, it suits shakes, smoothies and a variety of sauces, giving them the flavor and color of green tea.

Matcha green tea:Mix 1 teaspoon of matcha with 3 tablespoons of hot water and stir until a homogeneous mixture. Fill with 180ml hot water and stir until completely dissolved matcha in the water.
